Description

Critics are raving about the “impeccable technique” and “extraordinary musicianship” of Sirena Huang, Gold Medalist of the prestigious 11th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. Maestro Guillermo Figueroa conducts The Symphony for this brilliant program featuring Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major, regarded as the pinnacle of Romantic music and perhaps one of the most famous violin concertos of all time. Complementing this magnificent work are Amy Beach’s Symphony in E Minor (“Gaelic”) and Sibelius’ Finlandia, featuring a side-by-side performance with our Santa Fe Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Free pre-concert talk at 3 PM.
